Is sixteen too young to take ballrooom dance lessons?

I turned sixteen last Tuesday and after watching Take The Lead for the ninth time, I decided I have a strong yearning to learn the grand art that is ballroom dancing.
Waltz, tango, anything.
There are advertisements for adult ballroom dance schools in our Yellow Pages, and even my parents were considering taking it.
My question is, is sixteen too young to take ballroom dance lessons?
I live in New Jersey, where do they offer ballroom dance lessons for teenagers?
Go for it, you never know till you try, it!!! You just might like it and enjoy the company of others.
