now my brotha i do think when you say “mike knocks everyone down” i disagree…he doesn’t knock everyone down…i think it has to do with eras, but you won’t see older people saying what you just said about mikey…my dad who was born in ‘48 would never say mikey was the best dancer, he’d say james brown…then again, i am only 29 and i won’t say mikey…i work in radio (tom joyner morning show in houston) so i am pretty familiar with performers, mike is in in a world of his own though.

well mike never realy invented anything, his style came from others, he has always admitted this though, he has his own flair but for crying out loud there are videos on this paticular website that shows people teaching mike dance moves…especially jefferey daniels, he used to pay these kats for lessons…i love mikey to death but i don’t think he is as innovative as his supporters think….but hey, we are all different and believe me i respect your opinion….

MJ has taken …
MJ has taken several dance styles and incorporated them into his own style and his own steps. Thats what an innovator do.
But that is not the point. If your not a dancer, you don`t know what I am talking about . Michaels talent is his electric style, his spontanious energy. You can never anticipate what he will do next, no matter how much of his dance you`ve seen. everytime you see a new concert, video or performance, it is always fresh.

No one taught MJ to dance in the moment, improvise and just feel the beat. That is what makes MJ the best dancer, because he is totally spontanious. But seriously, don`t say like MJ was taught everything he knows, becuase then my friend you don`t know anything about MJ,

You`re talking to someone who has danced for 15 years, so know your stuff man. I am talking about Michael Jackson doing the solo dancing. And when it comes to that, no one cares if MJ learned the steps himself or was taught, That is not what dancing is about, and MJ is not known for his steps, but his style.
