Dance Lesson Blog

I’m a 20 year old guy and I really want to learn how to dance hip hop and club dancing. I have no prior experience dancing and would greatly benefit from private lessons as opposed to a class with many other students.

I can’t find anything on the internet. If I find a hip hop class, it’s always a group, or it’s for children. Any idea on how to find private lessons?

Just for reference, I’m located close to DC, in Rockville, MD.

I teach club dancing, but there isn’t a lot of people teaching it because it depends on the teacher’s style and it’s kind of an underground style. Private lessons are best, but I’ve taught enough guys to be able to point out common mistakes on my DVD. Try visiting my website and/or signing onto my e-mail list for some free web lessons. Do them in front of a mirror and see if they work for you.
